All Guthrie County area schools have met state benchmarks in a new report from the Every Student Succeeds Act.

The Iowa Department of Education recently released the Iowa School Performance Profiles as part of the federal education law that replaced the No Child Left Behind Act. The reports give each school a score on a 100 point system that measures graduation rates, math and reading proficiency, and measures the performance of student subgroups like those from a low-income background. The school with the highest overall measure in Guthrie County was Stuart Elementary with 60.32. The lowest in the county was Panorama Elementary with 47.96. The state average is 54.91.
