Last year’s nine-man rotation for the Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers varsity boys basketball team featured six seniors and three juniors. This year’s Tiger varsity boys basketball team showcases multiple sophomores, including three starting various games in the early part of the season. Nate Mueller has started all eight games for ADM at the point guard position. He currently leads the Raccoon River Conference with 44 assists, swiping a team-high 14 steals, and scoring 99 points. Dylan Anderson has become a mainstay in the middle, starting seven of eight games at center for the Tigers. The 6’8 Anderson has registered 33 rebounds, 32 points, 17 assists, eight blocks, and six steals. The last ADM sophomore to start is Tate Stine-Smith at a swing position. Stine-Smith has produced 60 points, 28 rebounds, 14 assists, and eight steals. The contributions of these three players have helped the ADM boys basketball team double their win total from all of last season ahead of the new year. The Tiger boys basketball team will resume their regular season schedule Friday, January 4, in a road Raccoon River Conference contest against the Bondurant-Farrar Bluejays.
