After playing shorthanded Friday at Bondurant-Farrar, the Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers varsity girls basketball team was back at full strength Saturday in a nonconference contest versus the Earlham Cardinals. Behind 23 combined points from juniors Abbie Hlas and Delaney Bertman, the Tigers tallied their ninth win of the winter with a 45-31 triumph over Earlham. Seniors Kristen Baier and Anna Kenny were healthy scratches during Friday’s 68-56 loss to the Bondurant-Farrar Bluejay, but the pair were back for Saturday’s matinee with the Cardinals. Baier recorded three points and six rebounds. The victory equals last year’s win total, improving the ADM girls basketball team’s overall record to 9-3. ADM resumes their season tomorrow in Pella in a nonconference contest against the Little Dutch.
