Residents are reminded of an event being held by U.S. Congresswoman Cindy Axne (D) in Guthrie County today.

U.S. Representative Axne will be at Art on State in Guthrie Center from 1:45-2:45 p.m. Community members are welcome to meet Axne and share thoughts on issues. This is a come-and-go event. This event follows a letter Axne submitted Wednesday to the Chief Administrative Officer to withhold her paycheck until the federal government is reopened following an ongoing partial shutdown.
