A Rippey man faces felony charges for allegedly sexually abusing minors.

According to court documents, 22-year-old Bradley Erik Purdy is charged with a Class B Felony for second degree sexual abuse and a Class D Felony for lascivious acts with a child-solicitation. The charges stem from an investigation by the Greene County Sheriff’s office that began on January 27th.

Court documents show a deputy was told by a relative of Bradley that he had picked up his two minor sons from a friend’s house the night before January 27th and one of the parents told him that information was shared that Bradley exposed himself to the two minors, along with showing photos of the breasts of a female friend of Bradley’s, and videos of the two of them having sex. Bradley allegedly also bribed them to touch him to play video games.

Court documents show that a forensic interview was done a Blank Children’s Hospital on January 31st and there was an Iowa Department of Human Services representative in the room. One minor under ten said in the interview that while in the home, Bradley tried one time to force him to touch his penis and he forcefully yanked his hand away. Another time while in the living room of the home on the couch, Bradley took the minor’s hand under his pants and touched his penis. The minor also confirmed that Bradley showed pictures of his female friend’s bare chest and videos of them having sex, among other allegations, including beastiality.

The minor concluded the interview by saying that Bradley told him if anyone found out he would kill him. He also tried to bribe the other brother who is under 14 years old, , but he didn’t take the bribe. All of the acts were done when there were no adults present at the home.

Online court documents show that Bradley has been arrested and was booked into the Greene County Jail, where he remains under a $100,000 cash-only bond. There is also a no contact order in place for the two minors against Bradley.
