The ACGC basketball teams trekked to Woodward Tuesday for a doubleheader against the Woodward-Granger Hawks. For the second time this season the Hawks got the better of the Chargers, winning both games.

Woodward-Granger took the girls contest 46-36. Freshman Emma Andersen once again led all scores with 22 points, while senior Kayley Dresback notched 14 in the final home game of her career. The Hawks led for nearly the entire game, leading by as much as 11. ACGC freshman Chloe Largent led all Chargers with a career high 16 points. Sophomore Jorja Hoover also added eight for the gold and black.

The Hawks also took the boys game, cruising to a 72-32 victory. Woodward-Granger junior Keith Braunschweig led all scores with 22 points while senior Noah Hoyt added 19 for the Hawks. Senior Noah Sargent and junior Bryce Littler led all Chargers with six points each. It’s the lowest offensive output by the boys team this season.
