A driver was cited for failure to maintain control after falling asleep at the wheel early Saturday morning in Perry.

According to the Perry Police Department, officers responded at 1:13 a.m. to a reported erratic driver, and found a Toyota Corolla in the ditch on Highway 141 near Iowa Street. The car was registered to Gabriella Caftillo Afpuriaf of Perry, and no one was injured in the incident.
