Students from Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center, Panorama, and West Central Valley Schools all performed at the State Large Group Speech Contest in West Des Moines last weekend.
AC/GC received division I ratings in the categories of One Act Play and Group Mime and also received All-State nominations. The two groups will perform at the All-State Festival on February 16th in Ames.
Panorama received division I ratings for five out of the seven entries they performed in the categories of Musical Theater, Ensemble Acting, TV News, Reader’s Theater, and Choral Reading. West Central Valley received division I ratings for all three of the improv groups they sent to State, while they received a division II rating for Ensemble Acting.
