A lopsided loss in the regional championship game is among the only blemishes in another successful campaign for the Panorama Panthers varsity girls basketball team (22-2 overall). The Panthers produced their third straight 20+ win season, landing on the right side of the ledger in 22 of the 24 games they played. A pair of seniors led Panorama in every significant statistical category. Bailey Beckman registered a team-best 471 points and 83 steals. Morgan Johnk topped Panorama with 160 rebounds, 64 assists, and 42 blocks. The pair of four-year varsity players compiled a career record of 84 wins and 12 losses. Their careers came to an end in Monday’s Class 2A Region 7 championship game against Dike-New Hartford, falling to the Wolverines, 50-15. Other seniors expected to graduate from the program in May include Brooke Halterman, Lydia Knapp, Vallerie Storesund, and Jaelyn Waddle.
