The Ole Miss Rebels Womens Softball program tallied their 14th win of the season Wednesday afternoon with an Adel native in the circle. Molly Jacobsen, a 2016 ADM graduate, scattered five hits over eight innings, allowing one earned run and striking out six in Ole Miss’s 7-2 victory over Austin Peay. The win is the sixth in a row for the Rebels, improving Jacobsen’s Division 1 pitching record to 6-1. The Ole Miss Women’s Softball team will stay in Oxford, Mississippi for a three-game series against Southeastern Conference member Arkansas this weekend. First pitch of game one is set for 4 p.m. Saturday.
