Today is the first official day of practice for boys and girls golf teams across the state. The Adel-Desoto-Minburn boys golf team is looking to reload after a trip to the Class 3A 2018 state tournament last May.

The Tigers lost the top two scorers on that 8th place team to graduation, but return three members from that squad. Senior Adam O’Connor was the top Tiger underclassmen at the 2018 state tournament, finishing in a tie for 43rd. He’ll be joined by sophomore Grant Garton and sophomore Carter Greenslade.

The Tigers are looking to make it three straight with a trip to the state tournament in 2019. They’ll begin that journey in Adel on Monday, April 8th at the River Valley Golf Course. They’ll host a Raccoon River Conference triangular against Winterset and Carlisle.
