Perry graduate Solomon Pierce is getting set for his first spring practice with Morgan State out of the FCS.  The former Bluejay tight end and defensive end is anticipated to make a push for a starting position on the Bear’s offensive line.  Pierce has gained over 60 pounds since graduation thanks to a consistent approach in the weight room.

“Yeah, that’s an area I have put a lot of focus into,” Pierce added.  “I put a lot of attention on my diet and just kept hitting the weights and now with the added strength along with my footwork, the coaches feel the offensive line might be the place for me.”
