The Greene County 4-H Young Leaders are doing a brand new event this weekend.

The Beef Burger Supper Fundraiser will take place Saturday from 5 to 7pm at the Presbyterian Church in Jefferson. The free-will donation meal includes beef burgers, chips, baked beans, bars and a drink. Carry-outs will also be available. There will also be a silent auction. Greene County Extension 4-H and Youth Coordinator Kayla Willms says the proceeds will go back to the Young Leaders for their activities and programs throughout the year.

“It’s 100-percent youth organized. So these 17 Young Leaders are putting it on start to finish and so we’re excited to see what they come up with this weekend.”

No pre-registration is necessary and it is the only fundraiser of the year for the Young Leaders.
