With water receding in parts of the Raccoon Valley Radio listening area, much of our rivers and streams continue to out of their banks.

According to the National Weather Service, a River Flood Warning is in effect for Greene and Dallas counties until Monday morning for the Raccoon River. The US Army Corp of Engineer’s Rivergages website reports this morning the North Raccoon River near Perry and the Middle Raccoon River near Bayard are above flood stage. Water continues to be over the road on the Highway 169 bridge north of Adel and it remains closed to traffic.

Listen to the Raccoon Valley Radio Network for road condition updates as well as cancellation and delay information.
