The Greene County Chamber and Tourism has rescheduled its annual dinner.

The event will take place this Friday at the Jefferson Elks Lodge. The evening begins with a social time at 5pm, followed by a spaghetti dinner at 6. The program will follow, which will include introducing the new board members and officers, highlights of 2018, Chamber membership milestones, new membership tiers and the presentation of the 2018 Above and Beyond the Call Award winner will wrap up the event. Chamber Board Past-President Mike Holden says he’s excited about the new board members and officers for 2019.

“We had a meeting here (with the new board members) and the air about the meeting, and the atmosphere if you will, there’s a difference. It’s neat to see the energy that these new people are coming and the creativity that they have. I’m really excited to see more of their ideas and see how we can work together and really move the Chamber back into kind of the prowess it used to have.”

Tickets are $15 per person and can be purchased at the Thomas Jefferson Gardens Education and Welcome Center or at the door the night of the event.
