The pediatrics clinic at Greene County Medical Center will open on Monday, April 1st and also starting that day will be a newly hired physician.

Dr. Holly Van de Voort is a Pella native and is moving with her family from Athens, Georgia back to Iowa. She is board certified in pediatrics and is member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She earned her medical degree from Medical College of Georgia, School of Medicine. She then did her internship/residency at the Medical College of Georgia-Children’s Medical Center.

Greene County Medical Center CEO Carl Behne is excited to bring on a full-time pediatrician because its a service that has been missing in Greene County. Dr. Van de Voort will start seeing patients April 1st. To schedule an appointment with her, call 515-386-2488.
