The Perry City Council will convene tonight in regular session.

In new business, the Council will consider a resolution adopting the Dallas County multi-jurisdictional local hazard mitigation plan. If approved, it will be submitted to the Iowa Homeland Security and Emergency Management Agency, as well as the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Region VII. Next, the Council will consider four individuals for reappointments to an assortment of boards and commissions. That will be followed by the setting of the 2019 community drop-off day for spring cleaning purposes. The Council will then set the schedule and procedures for this year’s yard waste disposal.

Finally, they will consider a resolution to enter into a cost-share grant contract with the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship, which would allow the City to participate in various water quality improvement projects. The meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Monday in the Clarion Room at Perry City Hall.
