adm-7

The ADM Boys’ Soccer team continues to practice and improve each day as they inch closer towards their first contest of the season.

Coach, Bill Shields has a solid base of returning players to set the base for his 2019 spring season. ADM lost nine players to graduation in 2018, but Shields will also bring a core of nine Seniors to this year’s roster which is promising to the success of 2019 ADM Boys’ Soccer. Last season the Tigers earned a very respectable record of 15-3. The three losses came during road games at Newton and Pella, and a home game against Des Moines East.

Seniors include, Connor Chappell, Nathan Wedemeyer, Isacc Higgins, David Coppinger, Owen Meier, Sam Bardwell, Braidon Lee, and Antonio Angel. The Tigers will also bring an additional six Juniors to the field this year, as well. The 15 upperclassmen on the ADM Boys’ Soccer Roster will be vital for Coach Shields and crew.

The Tigers will take to the field, unofficially, next Tuesday in a scrimmage against the Warriors of Norwalk in Norwalk. The first official game of the season will be on Monday, April 1 in Carroll.
