According to her wishes, Deb Monthei, 70, of Cooper has been cremated.  A visitation with the family present to greet friends will be from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Saturday, April 20, 2019 at the Jefferson Community Golf Course.  Burial will take place at a later date at Franklin Township Cemetery, Cooper, Iowa.

She is survived by her husband, Kenny Monthei of Cooper, IA; her children:  Gina Ashby of Bayard, Shane Monthei of Jefferson, Tricia Monthei of Jefferson, and Joshua Monthei of Jefferson; 17 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; her brother, Robert J. Masters of Fort Scott, KS; brother-in-law, Larry Monthei of Jefferson; sisters-in-law:  Barb Freeman of Jefferson, and Helen Monthei of Audubon; nieces; nephews; other relatives; and many friends.
