The Perry boys soccer team opened the season in impressive fashion defeating Winterset-Earlham 3-0 in Raccoon River conference action.  Johnathon Castro gave Perry the early lead on a beautiful head shot two minutes into the first half on an assist from Ever Tobar.  Anthony Velasco scored thirty minutes later on a 35 foot free kick to give Perry a 2-0 lead.  Tobar finished the scoring with a tally midway through the second half.  Perry dominated offensive possession.
