UPDATE: This meet in Underwood scheduled for tonight has been CANCELLED due to inclement weather.

The West Central Valley Wildcats Boys’ Track and Field team faced stiff competition in a twelve team invite on Tuesday in Earlham. Head Coach, Eric Addy, and his Boys’ Track team mustered a seventh place finish in 12 team field on Tuesday, with a total of 44 points.

West Central Valley finished first in one event on Tuesday, the 800 meter sprint medley relay with a time of 1:39.47.

The Wildcats did have other notable top 10 finishes in individual events on Tuesday. Jon Kalbach finished fourth in the shot put, and ninth in the discus field event. Rush Rowan finished fifth, behind Kalbach, in the shot put for West Central Valley. Carson Wadle finished sixth in the discus for Addy’s club. Reese Lottie notched two, top 10 finishes on Tuesday in the 100 meter and 200 meter sprint events. In the 800 meter run, Cole Sackett, tacked on an eighth place finish for the Wildcats.

West Central Valley Boys’ Track and Field will be back in competition tonight, traveling west to Underwood for another Invitational starting at 4:30.
