The Panorama track teams will be back in action today as they hit the road to Van Meter.

The girls are currently ranked number one in Class 2A in the Iowa Track Coaches Association Power Rankings. They’ve had a longer layoff than normal after Thurday’s ACGC girls invite was canceled because of weather. The Lady Panthers last competition was last Tuesday at Earlham, where they finished second in the team standings. The boys last competed Thursday at Saydel. Both teams are looking to secure spots at the Drake Relays, which are now less than two weeks away.

Meanwhile the Lady Panther golf team is competing in Altoona today. They last played a week ago in their first home meet. Weather for both sports should be a little breezy but otherwise favorable today with sunshine expected and highs in the upper 60s to low 70s.
