A Grand Junction man was arrested on an outstanding Greene County warrant following an overnight traffic stop.

Greene County Sheriff Jack Williams tells Raccoon Valley Radio a Jefferson Police Officer stopped a vehicle driven by 54-year-old Martin Tolsdorf for a traffic violation. During the stop, the officer discovered Tolsdorf had a warrant for his arrest.

Williams says the warrant was from two executed search warrants of Tolsdorf’s residence in Grand Junction from early 2018. During the search warrants, deputies recovered methamphetamine, marijuana, CBD or Cannabidiol oil, prescription drugs and a sawed-off shotgun. The drug-related items were sent into the Criminalistics Laboratory for testing and came back positive for marijuana and meth.

Tolsdorf is charged with a Class B Felony for conspiracy to deliver methamphetamine, Class D Felonies for possession of a firearm by a felon and his third or subsequent offense for possession of a controlled substance, and a misdemeanor for possession of prescription medication. Two other charges are pending including possession of an offensive weapon and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Tolsdorf was arrested and booked into the Greene County Jail. Raccoon Valley Radio will bring you more information as it becomes official.
