The ADM Girls’ Track anf Field team finished in fifth place in a Girls’ only Invitational earlier this week at Dallas Center-Grimes High School. Eleven schools made up the field on Tuesday in Grimes.

The only 4A school in competition at this meet, Indianola, finished in first place, as a team, with 119 total points. Hosts, DC-G, finished in a close second with 114 total team points. Carlisle was third, Creston finished fourth, and ADM was fifth with 67 total team points.

Anna Kenny was the lone individual winner for ADM on Tuesday, as Kenny placed first in the 400 meter hurdles. Hannah Welch, Olivia Tollari, and Sadie Juergens all placed in the top 3 in individual events at the DC-G Invitational.

ADM finished first in the 4×100 meter relay event, and second in the 400 meter shuttle hurdle relay event.

The ADM Girls’ Track and Field team will compete next on Tuesday, in a home meet in Adel, when the Tigers host five other schools, two of which are Class 4A members; Waukee and Des Moines North.
