The Adel Public Library is jumping on board a growing trend in central Iowa, and are now offering Adventure Passes for patrons to check out.

Already being offered at the Perry Public Library and others in the area, the Adventure Pass program allows people to check out experiences. In particular, Adel Library patrons will be able to check out free family passes to the Blank Park Zoo and the Science Center of Iowa. The passes are good for two adults and two kids, and they can be used once a year for either destination. In order to check out an Adventure Pass, the patron must be 18-years or older, have a non-expired library card, and be in good standing.

The library staff points out, if more than one adult in a family has a library card, they can both check out passes and double their experiences during the year. The Adventure Passes can be obtained online and printed off, and the user must present a photo ID to their destination. For more information or to register, click the link below.
