A reminder that several Easter egg hunts are taking place today in Greene County.

Two are starting at 10am in Jefferson and Churdan. Registration begins at 9:30am at the Greene County Community Center in Jefferson for toddlers to third graders. The Easter bunny will be there to take pictures and greet everyone. The hunt will begin at 10am. Registration for the hunt in Churdan begins at 9:30am at the library for toddlers to fourth graders, where everyone is invited to make Easter baskets before the hunt begins at 10. Both hunts are free.

A Doggie Easter Egg Hunt will take place at Daubendiek Park in Jefferson at 1pm. Registration starts at 12:30pm and the fee is $4 per dog, with all proceeds going to the Animal Protection and Education (APE) Agency in Paton for their low-cost spay and neuter clinic.

20The Grand Junction Fire Department is hosting their Easter egg hunt at 1pm at the city park for toddlers to nine-year-olds. Registrations begin at 12:30pm, with the hunt to start at 1. It is also free.
