After sliding through their first 3 games of the season in brutal losses, the West Central Valley Boys’ Soccer team seems to have found its stride, as the Wildcats have won their past four games in a row.

The Wildcats started their winning ways against Tri-Center in a 5-2 victory, then West Central Valley picked up two wins last weekend in Atlantic in a one-day Saturday tournament. The Wildcats defeated the home squad, Atlantic 2-1, and then picked up another victory against Logan-Magnolia by the score of 3-1.

West Central Valley Boys’ Soccer picked up its most recent win this past week, at home in Stuart, defeating Grandview Christian from Des Moines in a lopsided 10-1 game.

The Wildcats look to extend their winning streak to five games, on Monday, when West Central Valley travels to Grand Junction to take on Greene County. The Greene County Boys’ Soccer team is currently 5-0 on the season, while West Central Valley sits at 4-3.
