Donations are now being accepted for the annual Greene County Medical Center Auxiliary Garage Sale later this week.

New or used items and clean, wearable clothing can be dropped off at Clover Hall on the Greene County Fairgrounds in Jefferson ahead of the garage sale from now through Wednesday from 9am to 6pm. The Auxiliary will not accept TVs, large appliances, or computer items. Non-perishable food donations will also be accepted either before or during the garage sale. Those items can also be dropped off at Clover Hall and will be given to the Greene County Action Resource Center (ARC).

The garage sale begins on Thursday with a $3 sneak peek from 5 to 7pm. Then Friday through Saturday there is no admission charge. Friday’s times are 9am to 7pm and Saturday it will be from 9 to 11am.

All proceeds will go back to the Auxiliary for purchases for the medical center and the Auxiliary’s healthcare scholarships. For those who need large items to be picked up, contact Diane Blackmer at 515-370-0650.
