The Perry Police Department is investigating a second bomb threat that was discovered at the Perry Middle School.

According to a press release from the police department, the threat was found in one of the girls’ restrooms Monday afternoon, which was similar in nature to the one that was found in one of the boys’ restrooms late last week. The school’s administrative staff is working with the police department to identify any potential suspects, but no criminal charges have been filed at this time. Police officials do not believe there is any imminent threat to the safety of the students or staff of the middle school or any other facilities in the school district.
