The season went quickly south for the Perry boys soccer team after a tough 1-0 loss to Lewis Central Wednesday at Dewey Field.  The loss was Perry’s 7th in their last nine games following an 8-1 start to the season.  Like it has been so many times this year, the lack of offense proved to be fatal for the Bluejays.  Lewis Central scored the game’s only goal on a penalty kick in the 48th minute of the game.  Perry managed nine shots on goal.  Lewis Central advances to the substate final Saturday against Harlan in Council Bluffs.
