More severe weather could be on the way today and tomorrow for the Raccoon Valley Radio listening area.

The National Weather Service has Greene, Dallas and Guthrie counties under a slight risk for severe weather today. The main threats with severe weather include high winds, large hail and possible isolated tornadoes. Some areas could see 1-3 inches of additional rainfall through tomorrow, which could lead to flash flooding and river flooding. Dallas County Emergency Management Department has closed Highway 169 bridge north of Adel due to water over the roadway. A river flood warning has been extended for Greene and Dallas counties until Sunday, June 2nd.

The National Weather Service has Greene County and the northern halves of Dallas and Guthrie counties under a slight risk for severe weather tomorrow. The southern halves of Dallas and Guthrie counties are under an enhanced risk.
