The Perry School Board will convene Monday evening for their June regular session.

The meeting will begin with several items related to athletics at the school. The Board will consider continuation of the District’s agreement with 21st Century Rehab for athletic training services for the coming school year, followed by a resolution to adopt the return-to-play protocol for injuries sustained during athletic events. Next, the Board will consider the creation of a strength and conditioning coordinator, as well as a transfer from the general fund to the student activity fund for protective and safety equipment.

The Board will then approve the hourly summer rates for Perry’s Academic, Cultural, and Enrichment Services (PACES) staff. Other items on the agenda include: participation in the School Administrators of Iowa Mentoring and Induction Program; 28E agreements for universal preschool; summer paint crew hourly rates; in-school suspension supervisor hourly pay rate; creation of a Success Room assistant supervisor position; revisions to Board policies; personnel changes; and District fundraisers. The meeting will conclude with a closed session to conduct the annual evaluation of Superintendent Clark Wicks.

The meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Monday in the high school’s Brady Library.
