The Perry softball team went 1-2 at the Woodward Granger Invitational Friday and Saturday in Woodward.  Perry started the tournament with an 11-3 victory over the Titans of Lewis Central.  Jayna Kenney struck out six while allowing one earned run in six innings of work to pick up the win.  Kenney finished 2-4 with a pair of runs scored and three stolen bases.  Lydia Olejniczak finished 2-3 with two runs scored and two stolen bases.  Adriana Eastman knocked in a pair of runs while Kennedy Tunick added 2 RBI’s as well.

Saturday did not go as well with Perry getting blasted in both games.  The Jayettes fell to Ogden 12-0 in three innings and then lost to Woodward Granger 13-7 in the finale.  Peyton Tunick pitched all 3 innings in the first game while Kenney pitched all 6 innings against Woodward Granger.  Perry committed 17 errors in the two games combined.  The Jayettes are now 3-10 on the year and will travel to Gilbert Tuesday.
