Greene County baseball is at Nevada tonight in Heart of Iowa Activities Conference play. The Rams are looking to get back in the win column after losing their last five games and eight of nine. Coach John Hupp’s team is 6-15 overall and 2-9 in league games. Nevada is 2-11 in the conference and 2-13 overall. The Rams won the first meeting between the two by a 5-3 score on June 7 in Jefferson.

The Rams played twice in the Kuemper Catholic Tournament in Carroll on Saturday at Merchant’s Park. They lost to the host Knights 13-1 and fell 10-0 to Pocahontas Area. Both games ended early by the 10-run rule.

Greene County was scheduled to play Tuesday night, but school officials tell Raccoon Valley Radio that contest has been cancelled.
