The struggling Perry baseball team received a tough first round district draw as expected this week when the Bluejays travel to Slater to take on Ballard in a 3A District Opener in two weeks.  Ballard is currently leading the Raccoon River Conference while Perry still sits winless in conference competition.  Ballard has defeated Perry twice this season.  The game will be played at Nighthawk Field in Slater.
