Funeral services for Robert Elmer Sheeder, 71, of Panora will be at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, July 10 at the Twigg Funeral Home in Panora. Burial will be in the Iowa Veterans Cemetery near Van Meter. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 9 from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Robert is survived by his wife, Sally of Panora; children, Julie Johnson of Panora; Mark Sheeder of Panora; Lee Sheeder of Jefferson; Ron Sheeder of Panora; Rob Sheeder of Stuart; and Debbie Sheeder of Panora; 16 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Siblings, Shirley Staggs, Alvin Sheeder, Patsy Silvey, Kenneth Sheeder, Cindy Nelson, Beverly Moore, Ardis McGinnis, Louise Lawson, Michael Sheeder, and many nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandson Joshua Byerly.
