The annual Hot August Night in Jefferson is coming up and there’s still time to get involved.
It takes place Thursday, August 8th around the downtown square from 4:30-7pm. Greene County Chamber and Tourism Board Member Jill Morton says there are a few sponsorship levels ranging from $200-$300. She explains the perks a sponsor receives at all levels.
“What we’re doing is you get your name on the back of the t-shirts and all of the advertising and sponsor-related items (like) fliers and everything. So if you’re interested or if we haven’t talked to you, reach out to our Chamber office and let us know. Otherwise hopefully someone will be reaching out to everyone in the community (to) see if they want to help out.”
Those looking to enter their car, truck, motorcycle or tractor can do so by clicking the link below. The People’s Choice Award will be given to the top vehicle entry, along with the Spirit Award. Plus, there is a $200 cash prize for the auto club that has the most entries. If you enter before July 18th, you will receive a free t-shirt. To find out more contact the Chamber at 386-2155.
