The Panora City Council met in regular session Monday.

The meeting began with a public hearing on a proposal to enter into a General Obligation Purpose Loan Agreement. No comments were made and the Council then approved the agreement to issue $317,000 to pay for improvements to the municipal waterworks and sanitary sewer systems, and acquire a police vehicle, lawn mowers, and a public works vehicle. Next, the Council approved selling their 2009 Crown Victoria police vehicle to Cody Lockhart for $200. Finally, no action was taken regarding a bid proposal for the downtown square south flower beds as the proposal has not yet been submitted.
