The 2019 Dallas County Fair will wrap up its activities for the year tomorrow, but there’s still a lot going on throughout the day.

At 6 a.m., all livestock not for sale will be released, and those that are sticking around will be auctioned at 1 p.m. in the show ring. The 4-H/FFA Dog Show will be held at 8:30 a.m., followed by the Horse Fun Show at 9. At 10 a.m., there will be remote control car races, which has been growing in popularity as an every-Sunday event the last couple months. Afternoon events include the Bill Riley Talent show, where the winners will advance to the Iowa State Fair, and the annual bags tournament, both held at 1 p.m. The day will conclude with the Demolition Derby at 6 p.m. on the north track. The cost to attend the derby is $10 for adults and $5 for kids age 6-12.

Raccoon Valley Radio will also be wrapping up our fair coverage tomorrow, broadcasting live with the Big Red Radio. From 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., we will have live reports from the fairgrounds in Adel, give the latest contest results, play music, and provide public address services.
