Funeral Services for Arnold Steinke, 90, of Jefferson will be 11:00 am Wednesday, July 24 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Jefferson.  Visitation will be prior to the service from 10:00 am to 11:00 am Wednesday at the church.  Burial will take place at a later date at Iowa Veterans Cemetery in Van Meter.  Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association.

He is survived by his children:  Laura Steinke-Simms of Graettinger, IA, Debra Vimmerstedt of Aurora, CO, and Patricia Goodwin of Globe, AZ; five grandchildren:  Joanie Simms, Joel Venteicher, Chris Goodwin, Bo Goodwin, and Derek Allender; 8 great grandchildren; three sisters:  Norma Alsteen of Milwaukee, WI, Dorothy Bauer of Milwaukee, WI, and Helen Smith of Cerritos, CA; nieces; nephews; other relatives; and friends.
