The Perry baseball team closed out the season last Friday night with first round 12-2 exit of Class 3A district competition in Slater.  Perry finished the season 0-24 and will look to improve next season even though the team will be considerably younger.  The Bluejays will look to replace five seniors including all conference performer Kaleb Olejniczak.  The senior led Perry in a number of offensive categories and was a mainstay in an otherwise shuffling outfield.  Olejniczak closed out his high school career with three hits on Friday night, representing Perry’s only offense.  The Bluejays will have a couple of young arms coming back with Avery Meister and Keeghan West while Kato Dougan and young Carter Iben received a high number of reps in the two middle infield spots.
