The ADM Tigers Baseball team put together one of the most impressive runs to the State Baseball Tournament in recent years, as the 14-16 Tigers pulled off three consecutive upsets to get to Principal Park.

ADM had to overcome the top three seeded teams in their Sub-state 8 Bracket to make the field of 8 in the Capital City.  The Tigers will play their Quarterfinals match-up on Tuesday, July 30, at 11:00am against Cedar Rapids Xavier.

Zach Fuller, and Senior, Logan Crannell were two of the big pieces for the Tigers success in this State Tournament run.  Crannell picked up two wins on the mound, and Fuller picked up the win against DC-G on Monday.

ADM Head Coach, Jason Book, made mention that Crannell is a great kid, and hopes that he’ll look at playing baseball in college, after his high school career comes to an end next week in Des Moines.

Crannell said that Wednesday’s win over Harlan, and earning a trip to the State Tournament is now is overall best memory as an ADM Tiger.

The Class 3A State Tournament action gets underway in Des Moines on Tuesday.
