While the AC/GC boys cross country team did not have a stellar team season in 2018, they did have individuals who were able to standout. Noah Nelson finished 4th in the State Meet in Class 1A last season and Clay Billheimer finished 59th in Fort Dodge. However, both Nelson and Billheimer, along with Blaine Beeler have since graduated.

The 2019 season will showcase the youth AC/GC has in their cross country program. The Chargers only return one runner that will be a senior in Ben Young. But, there will be plenty of sophomores and juniors with runners such as Miles and Eli Kading and Donnie Swanson.

The AC/GC boys open up their season on Thursday, August 29th at the Gilbert Invitational hosted at the Iowa State Cross Country Course in Ames.
