Surprising news has come out of the Adel-Desoto-Minburn school district Monday that activities director Reece Satre has stepped down from the position to take the same job for North Polk High School. ADM will be on the search for a new interim AD in the next couple of weeks.

Satre came to Adel-Desoto-Minburn in the summer of 2014 and was the head activities director at the school for five years. He came from Linn-Mar, where he worked as a science teacher and coach in the district for eight years.

Under the guidance of Satre, the Tigers and Lady Tigers teams saw great success. He also saw upgrades to various projects for the district. The new opening will expect to attract some good candidates for the ADM school district, so it will be interesting who they will go with in the upcoming weeks.
