Funeral services for Rita Smithson, 90, of Perry, will be Tuesday, August 27th at 10:30 am at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Perry. Visitation will be Monday at 1 pm at the Hastings Funeral Home in Perry. Family will be present at 4 pm and a Rosary will begin at 6:45 pm. Survivors include: Children, Bob Smithson of Perry, Denise Koppenhaver of Perry, Dennis Smithson of Houston, Texas, Jim Smithson of Longwood, Florida, Ted Smithson of Council bluffs and Tom Smithson of Altoona.
