The Guthrie County Fair will literally be “on the mooooove” tomorrow morning as the parade will traverse through town.

There are several events happening Saturday, including cattle and dog trials from the Iowa Stock Dog Handlers Association, an antique tractor show, free watermelon feed, and the 4-H and FFA rabbit, sheep, and goat shows. Wichita Wildcats 4-H’er Reagan Gibson is especially looking forward to the Swine Jackpot Open Class Show, “It brings in people from all across the state all into Guthrie County and there would sometimes be like 70+ people coming into Guthrie County who would never come before and it’s just a great experience to bring all these people to come and see what Guthrie County is really about.”

The day also includes several arts-related classes, American Legion bingo, and the Guthrie County Saddle Club Fun Show. Attendees are also reminded that grandstand entertainment and carnival rides are free. You can also check out the Big Red Radio as Raccoon Valley Radio broadcasts live and gives show results every day of the fair.
