5:05am: A Traffic Stop in the 600 Block of North Elm Street resulted in Ashley Kuhl of Jefferson being cited for, “Excessive Speed.”

7:45am: A Boy’s Town Employee spoke to an officer about a Jefferson parent who walked his child to school, but is only to have supervised visitation, per DHS. The officer learned the child made it to school safely.

1:01pm: Kevin Steelman reported a possible No Contact Order Violation at 1581 235th Street. The officer reviewed the order and learned the subject reported to have broken the order was the Protected Party. The order does not stop them from being on the property.

2:42pm: Lois Brant reported receiving the Social Security Scam Phone Call. She did not provide the caller with any personal information.

6:58pm: A Traffic Stop at 220th and Oakland resulted in Jessica Crouse of Altoona being cited for, “Excessive Speed.”

7:17pm: Officers were called to 503 East Lincoln Way Street for a reported argument between family members. Officers arrived and spoke to several people at the residence. The officer’s learned a grandmother had arrived at the residence to pick up her 17-year-old grandson. He did not wish to leave and an argument started. In the argument, the 17-year-old male slapped his younger sister. The officer arrested the 17-year-old male juvenile and sent Assault-Simple Juvenile Charges to the Juvenile Court. Kayden Nelson of Jefferson was cited for, “Minor Using Vapor Product.”

7:58pm: Vickie Williams reported a known Jefferson female was slandering her on the Internet. The officer advised Williams this is not a criminal matter and advised her to speak to an attorney.

8:35pm: An officer removed a bat from the residence at 406 East State Street.

8:40pm: A caller advised of a dog tied out at 617 South Olive Street with no access to water. The officer later spoke to the owner about the issue. He advised the dog only goes out for short periods, but he will put water out.

8:45pm: Nathan Nelson reported his motorcycle was stolen from 505 South Maple Street. The officer located the motorcycle a few houses away. The officer determined Nelson was intoxicated and had most likely parked it there and forgot where it was.

10:56pm: An officer located an unoccupied vehicle parked along the roadway on North Grimmell Road, just off of 220th Street. No one was around the vehicle and it was well off of the roadway.
