The Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs Football team traveled to Norwalk for their second game of the season last night, and by all accounts, they were the underdog, without question.

However, they left Norwalk as the victors of the gridiron match-up on Friday.

DC-G ended up taking a 27-21 double overtime win from the ranked Norwalk Warriors.  DC-G trailed late in the fourth quarter, but put a nearly, end zone to end zone drive together in the final 3 minutes of regulation.

That final drive was lead by Quarterback, Ty Walker.  Walker ended the game 16/24 through the air with a total of 158 yards passing, and two touchdowns.

Walker’s favorite target of the evening, Isacc Boley, ended the game with 9 receptions for a total of 109 yards.

DC-G Head Coach, Scott Heitland’s reaction to the big Mustang win can be heard on Monday evening between 6:00-7:00pm on 99.7FM and AM1310 KDLS on the Dallas County PM Sports Page.

Dallas Center-Grimes will host Ballard on Friday in their home opener.
