Last week, the DC-G Boys’ and Girls’ Cross Country teams hosted their own X/C Invitational in Grimes and the Mustangs and Fillies didn’t disappoint.

The #2 ranked DC-G Girls’ team finished the evening as the winners of their home event, while the Boys’ enjoyed a solid performance on their own course with three of the top 7 runners being Mustangs.

Tomorrow, both the Dallas Center-Grimes Boys’ and Girls’ Cross-Country teams will be back in action on the road.  The Mustangs will make the short jaunt across Highway 141 to Johnston, while the Fillies will run down in Winterset.

DC-G Girls’ Cross-Country Coach, Matt Pries, will join us on the Dallas County PM Sports Page tonight to chat about his team’s performance last week at home, and what he expects from his girls tomorrow in Winterset.  You can hear the interview tonight between 6:00-7:00pm on 99.7FM or AM1310 KDLS.
