The West Central Valley women’s volleyball team competed against three teams Saturday but will still be looking for their first win of the season when they lost to Tri-Center 21-6, 21-11, Shenandoah 21-7, 21-12, and Nodaway Valley 21-2, and 21-12. All three opponents have a lot of talent, and the young Wildcats were unable to overcome it after losing all three sets.

Emily Goodner led the team in kills in two of the three matches. The team had numerous players set up to get digs and assists.

The Lady Wildcats are 0-7 on the season, though they’ve only played one match so far at home. They return home Tuesday to take on Des Moines Christian.
